2. Slowly reduce your quantity.

This rule is easy; the next time you prepare a meal or snack, just eat a little less. It won’t benefit you to eat half of what you normally do, as your body will just go into starvation mode, and hold onto those fat cells. Chew your food slowly and savor it. 3. Be mindful of your ratios.

And this brings us to the final & most crucial technique: ratios! When you plate up a snack or meal, mentally calculate the ratio of the combined protein, grain, & dairy to the produce. Aim always for at least 1 to 1. If you eat a salad with meat included, the ratio could easily be 1 to 3 or even 1 to 5. The higher the second number, the more weight reduction you will experience!
